Parting words from the senior staff of The News Argus, Copy Desk
I have had some pretty awesome times at Winston-Salem State, and now that I'm about to graduate a farewell is only right.
First I would like to give a big thanks to the Mass Communications department and all the professors that have helped me along the way: Dr. Cobb [college mom] and Dr. Saddler especially.
I have to give a big shout out to my second family at "The News Argus." I'd list all their names but let's be serious; I only have so many words.
Farewell to those long nights of NBA Live tournaments, on any console, I'm the best. Goodbye to St. Patrick's Day celebrations that have led to acquaintances and memories that I will never forget. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the Argus crew [Kahlorado and Brandon Coley] aptly named "The Dark Side" by Dr. Cobb. It's a shame I met you guys so late in my college career; or is it a blessing?
I've got to give a big shout out to my running buddy Quan Withers, also known as "Twin."
We've got some from ridiculous memories, from the vending machine, the water balloons and most recently the bonfire.
Last but not least, thanks Dr. Cobb, for the lollipops, for speaking for me with the ESP developed through all those courses I took with you, and for teaching me so much. It's been real everybody.
Oh yeah, thanks mom!
