Bianka Locklear, from Washington D.C. is a freshman on the Lady Rams  tennis team. The former student of H.D. Woodson High School entered her first year as a dominate right-handed player.

Lady Rams head coach Charlie Schoderbek selected her the recipient of the Coach's Game Ball. Locklear's performance against Guilford College Oct. 4 earned her this recognition.

Locklear was victorious over Morgan Howard 6-0, 6-0 and followed that with a 5-7, 6-2, 10-8 victory over Nina Bollag in a three-set match.

"It was hard pressed to pick just one [player]," Schoderbek said. "But I guess Bianka would have the edge because of the come from behind win she had in her second singles match. She won in a Tie Breaker 10-8."
