The Campus Incident Report is a concise summary of the up-to- date incidents that affect the Winston-Salem State campus and community. Incidents may lead to News Argus articles.
 
Wednesday, Oct. 2
 
Larceny
 
At 6:24 p.m., a male student reported his car radio and his wallet had been stolen. The student said the items were stolen from his unlocked vehicle parked in Lot W. The case is closed.
 
Sunday, Oct. 6
 
Larceny
 
At 11:32 a.m., a female student reported her bag being stolen from Lot U after she placed her bag under an unknown black vehicle for temporary storage. Upon returning, the bag was no longer there. The case is still open.
 
Underage Drinking
 
At 1:57 a.m., campus police were dispatched to the C.E. Gaines Center in reference to a male student who had been drinking and was very disruptive. The student injured himself during the Gym Jam and was transported to the hospital before being charged with underage drinking and disorderly conduct. The student was referred to Judicial Affairs. The case is closed.
 
Monday, Oct. 7
 
Disorderly Conduct
 
At 12:04 a.m., campus police responded to a verbal altercation between two female students in Brown Hall. The students, who are roommates, previously met with Resident Assistants about a disagreement. The male RA said the students were able to come to an agreement about the issues by the end of the session. There have been other issues since that meeting and a second mediation session. One of the students was temporarily relocated to another room. The students were referred to Judicial Affairs. The case is closed.
 
Tuesday, Oct 8
 
Disorderly Conduct
 
At 11:36 a.m., campus police was dispatched to RJR in reference to a disruptive male student. The professor said he asked the student several times to stop lying his head on the desk and texting during class The professor said he then asked the student to leave the classroom and to have the dean fill out the appropriate form for the student to regain entrance back into the class. The student refused and reported he felt he was being targeted by the professor. Campus police advised the student to take the form and explain the situation to the dean. The case is closed.
 
Thursday, Oct. 17
 
Assault
 
At 11:30 a.m., middle school students from Davie County were attending an event at K.R. Williams Auditorium. During the event one of the Davie male students sexually assaulted one of the Davie female students by continuously trying to put his hand up her dress after being told not to do so. There were no injuries. This incident is being investigated by the Winston-Salem Police Department.
