I studied mathematics with a minor in neuroscience and earned my bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. For the last seven years, I have been teaching in private and public settings. I have worked with at-risk students and those wanting to get ahead of their peers. I have also worked with many students with SAT/ACT prep in private environments. I have also worked with the math department at the University of North Carolina, tutoring students in math and conducting research. What has shaped me into an excellent tutor is my ability to explain difficult concepts in easier to understand ways and my approachability.
