I firmly believe that science is the coolest thing ever because it is how the whole universe works. Math is the language of science. A lot of people who are interested in science do not continue on to pursue it because they think they cannot be good in math. I am a big believer in the theory that anyone can learn anything with lots of practice. This is no different when it comes to math. I earned my bachelor's degree in astrophysics and biology from the College of Charleston. After graduating, I spent a year teaching high school physics, spent a few years as a teaching assistant for an astronomy course, and did years of astronomy research.
