Founded in 1985, the Universidad Latina - Heredia, formerly known as the UICR, is now considered to be one of the most prestigious universities in Costa Rica. Today, the school offers undergraduate and graduate degrees covering a wide area of practical sciences, education, and business related fields. At the Universidad Latina, students will take a combination of intensive Spanish-language courses and electives in English.
