April 15-28 FOR TEACHING MAJORS ONLY. After completing all certification requirements, education majors must clear with Dr. Singleton, Room 254, Anderson Center.
Exit interviews for seniors who received funds from the Federal FamilEducation Loan Program (Formerly Stafford Loan) will be completed on line at: www.studentloan. com. April 23-May 6 (After completing your Final Exams)
1. Secure FINAL CLEARANCE 8:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Cashier’s Office ($25.00 graduation fee must be paid at this time). NO PERSONAL CHECKS. Inquiries should be directed to the Cashier’s Office, 750-2800. Money Order or Cash.
2. Leave a copy of FINAL CLEARANCE FORM in the Registrar’s Office, Thompson Student Services Center, Room 202 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
3. Report to the Alumni Office in the Old Chancellor’s Residence and register with the Winston-Salem State University Alumni Association (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.). You Must Clear with the Alumni Office.
May 6 1- 4:30 p.m. Pick up graduation letter and honor cord, if applicable, in the Multi-Purpose Room, Thompson Student Services Center, Room 207. Written permission must be presented to pick up another graduate’s honor cord.
May 7 Noon-5 p.m. Commencement Rehearsal at Lawrence Joel Coliseum (Mandatory).
May 8 8:30 a.m. Commencement (Attendance Required) 8:30 a.m. Graduates arrive for line of march.
