Winston-Salem State University has been chosen by the Tom Joyner Foundation as its school of the month for March 2009.
The foundation is a charitable organization that financially assists African American students attending HBCUs.
During March, the foundation will highlight WSSU accomplishments, conduct live interviews, and spotlight major, national, and local donors while profiling scholarship participants.
On his radio show, Tom Joyner will ask his listening audience to donate to WSSU by calling in donations or going online to Blackamericaweb.com.
