
Dillard auditorium was filled beyond seating capacity in the presence of author, Princeton professor, and civil rights activist, Dr. Cornel West, Thursday Nov. 5.
West was one of the keynote speakers during “Faces Of A Healthy Future: National Conference To End Health Disparities.”
Following his speech was a Q&A session with the audience.
West was asked about the recent decision at Morehouse College to adopt as dress code.

An American philosopher, author, critic, pastor, actor and civil rights activist, West will be the keynote speaker for the conference’s Awards Gala on Thursday evening beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The conference is a project of Winston-Salem State University’s Center for Excellence in the Elimination of Health Disparities and is designed to create on-going dialogue regarding healthcare for underserved populations.
