Chelsea Chatman, from High Point is a freshman biology major on the Lady Rams tennis team.
The graduate of Southwest Guilford High School is a dominant right-hand player.
Lady Rams Head Coach Charles Schoderbek selected her as co-recipient of the Coach’s Game Ball.
During the win over West Virginia State University April 3, Chatman closed out a dominant performance by the Lady Rams in her match during singles action. Chatman defeated her opponent 6-3, 6-2.
“She did [well] in singles,” Schoderbek said.
“She had the desire. She dug deep and came through with the plays.”
