The News Argus won nine awards, including four first-place awards at the 13th Annual National HBCU Student Media Conference in Columbia, S.C.
Feb. 11-13. Argus staffers won first place for Best Student Newspaper (non-regular production, once weekly or less); Best Editoral Cartoon; Best Informational Graphic or News Art Illustration; and Best Online Audio Story.
