Campus Crime Blotter: Oct. 3 – Nov. 13

Saturday, Oct. 3

At 5 a.m. there was an alcohol violation in Foundation Heights.  A staff member reported a student lying on the floor by the elevator.  An officer responded and EMS was contacted.  The student was transported to Baptist Hospital and the case is now closed.

Saturday, Oct. 10

At 7:50 a.m. officers responded to a report about a box of ammunition near the dumpster at Wilson Hall.  The ammunition was placed in the evidence locker and the case is now closed.

Wednesday, Oct. 14

At 8:15 a.m. officers responded to a report about vandalism in the Old Nursing Building.  The lock to an office was broken.  Inside the office officers discovered, the carpet was soiled and racial slurs were written on the board.  The case is now closed.

Thursday, Oct. 22

At 9:10 p.m. a student at Dillard Hall contacted police regarding a video of her being placed on the Internet without her consent.  Police conducted an investigation and the case is now closed.

Tuesday, Oct. 27

A larceny was reported at the Vargrave Street construction site.  The manager of the site contacted campus police regarding stolen equipment and will contact police with further information.  The time of the incident was not reported in the blotter.  The case is still open.

Saturday, Nov. 7

At 11:40 a.m. dispatch received a call from a parent about an altercation between two students in Foundation Heights.  An officer responded.  Upon investigation, pets were discovered and removed.  Both students requested mediation and the case is now closed.

Friday, Nov. 13

At 3:15 p.m. an officer was dispatched to investigate an aggravated assault at Brown Hall. A student was hit on the head by one of two unknown persons entering his room.  The student refused EMS.  Investigation revealed marijuana in the area and the case is open.
