Awardees will be expected to share their experiences with their home campus, to encourage study abroad by others and to spread understanding of Asia in their home communities. BENJAMIN A. GILMAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDY ABROAD
Application Deadline: Apri115, 2004 Awards up to $5,000 for semester or year study abroad. The Gilman Scholarship aims to diversify and expand participation in international study by supporting students who have been traditionally underrepresented in study abroad. Open to U.S. citzen undergraduate students who are receiving federal Pell Grant funding at a 2-year or 4-year college or university in the US.
